Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She performed the role of Anna Garner the leading role in The Girl Experience. She performed her first film role in the Babysitters where she played Brenda Woodberg. Krause was a drama major in college before appearing in a variety of off-Broadway performances. Krause also appeared in shows based in New York, which are part of the networks' TV shows. The career of her father, whom is half Japanese and American in origin, is her career. Her older brother Nathaniel is a director. The family lives in Washington D.C., at the Washington School of Ballet she developed an interest in dance. As she entered high-school she became more involved with other disciplines. In high school she was accepted into an acting program at Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause was soon ready to begin her career in acting. She earned her Equity certificate by appearing in a musical production of Aida. Louisa Krause got her start with the stage. Her first production was with the Huntington Theatre Company produced her in 2006. The production was Iphigenia for the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
