Allana played for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana on the sidelines for many years prior to making the switch back to rugby league. Allana's first rugby league match for women took place in the year 2015. She played well against Queensland and represented New South Wales. Allana has also been a regular radio personality, appearing regularly as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana does not only a sportswoman but also a teacher with a degree in education, has an extensive background outside sport.
